DK2 no califica...jeje

10.
Young Guns
Although we knew there was a younger, fresher feel about the June titles, the wording of some of DC's solicitations make it clear that there's a youth-focused feel to more comics than we expected.
Prez stars Beth Ross, the first teenaged president of the United States. The guy wearing the Dr. Fate helmet in that new title is a med student from Brooklyn. And Doomed stars a Metropolis U student who can turn into Doomsday (whatever good that does him), presumably in a manner similar to what happened to Superman in "Doomed."
And Bat-Mite (which is a six-issue mini-series) and Bizarro are both being billed as all-ages, which means DC is taking the laugh-filled success of Harley Quinn and applying it to something readers can actually share with their kids.
And there are more Robins than you can shake a batarang at. (More on that later.)

9.
Starfire's Key
It turns out that there's a reason Starfire's costume still shows a little skin — she lives in Key West.
As readers might remember, Starfire caused a bit of an uproar when some readers reacted negatively to her skimpy costume and sexually free attitude when she was introduced to the New 52. Although there were also supporters of the character's look — and to be fair, the story by Scott Lobdell explained her comfort with near-nudity and sex — the character was a recurrent complaint from many comics bloggers.
Now Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner are launching a new Starfire series in June, and the character's got a presumably new attitude and a bit-more-covered-up look — one the writers call "sexy but not porn-y." And the reason for her tummy showing? She lives in Key West, Florida, where, Palmiotti says, she'll probably be wearing more clothes than even most of the men.

8.
New Batman Beyond
When the new Batman Beyond title was announced for June, most people assumed it would just be another take on Terry McGinnis, the character who starred in the animated TV series of the same name.
But with this week's solicitation and Newsarama's interview with writer Dan Jurgens and artist Bernard Chang, the identity of the costumed hero isn't clear. It's looking like there's a "new" Batman Beyond. (And anyone following The New 52: Futures End can tell you what's expected to happen to Terry, unfortunately.)
It's also a bit of a surprise that Jurgens is calling Batman Beyond's timeline the "definitive" future for the DCU, and he referred to it being the 35-years-in-the-future that's been portrayed in Futures End. So there's also no Bruce Wayne guiding Batman Beyond.
So just who is the new Batman Beyond?
Well…. anyone remember that teaser back in June featuring Tim Drake putting on a cowl, with the tagline about the "future?"
Tim Drake might be a wild guess. But who else could be the new Batman Beyond?

7.
Darkseid War Details
Although we can't help pointing out that we at Newsarama guessed most of today's revelations about "Darkseid War", it's still significant that they're no longer guesses but are instead cold, hard facts.
Thanks to the Justice League solicitation and our interview with creative team Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok, we now know that not only will Darkseid's daughter play a central role in Darkseid War, but the story also involves the baby that evil Earth 3 Superwoman was carrying at the end of Forever Evil. (Is that who the hooded figure on the cover of Justice League #41 is?) A previous promotional image also included Metron, so this will be quite the showdown.
Johns and Fabok had already hinted in a Newsarama interview that Mr. Miracle might join the team, and they confirmed it to us today — he'll join the team.
Hal Jordan is still in the League in June (even though he's a rogue in Green Lantern), and surprisingly, Justice League's cover has a Bruce Wayne-looking Batman (even though he's allegedly gone from Batman — see below). To be fair, Green Lantern's Robert Venditti told Newsarama there's a reason for Hal's appearance in the League, but we can't help thinking this is an example of that "loose continuity" DC keeps talking about.
With this week's information, "Darkseid War" almost looks like a sequel to Forever Evil — but although Forever Evil didn't alter the Earth's status quo much, Johns promises a "major shift" once "Darkseid War" ends.

6.
Duke of Robins
The early images of We Are Robin made it pretty obvious that a group of teenagers would be donning Robin costumes. And guess what? That's pretty much the story revealed this week.
But there was more even new information about the series. Duke Thomas, the character introduced and developed by Batman writer Scott Snyder (who was expected to be the teased character named "Lark") will be one of the Robins in We Are Robin, according to USA Today.
As Snyder described it to Newsarama, the premise of We Are Robin: "A group of young people from all kinds of different backgrounds" decide "to take up the mantle of Robin because of what happens at the end of 'Endgame.'”
There were also three characters introduced in Detective Comics #40 that seem to be potential candidates for We Are Robin: Riko, a female teen who already wears a red tunic, yellow utility belt and black cape; and Dax and Dre, two teen boys who seem ready for the fight. The issue also utilizes Lonnie, the teen boy from Detective Comics, who's credited here with building an app that opens electronically locked doors, and who's known for hacking into Wayne Enterprises' mainframe under the name "Moneyspider."
No word if these kids are Robins — or whether any of this is connected to Damian Wayne (He Actually Is Robin). Damian appears to be away from Gotham come June, starring in Robin, Son of Batman by writer/artist Patrick Gleason.

5.
Superman's Haircut
Recent changes to the Man of Steel included a tweak to his new costume and the addition of a new power, but in June, the character's getting a change that's really shocking:
Superman has a haircut!
So far, that appears to be the biggest change to the character in June — or at least the only ones DC is revealing (new Superman writer Gene Luen Yang and current ongoing artist John Romita Jr. are staying mum about details).
But the haircut is enough to get readers upset about the absence of Clark Kent's familiar locks. No curl on the forehead? How dare they! Is this person even Superman any more?

4.
Earth 2's Fate
By Fate, we don't mean Doctor Fate — who's getting his own series soon (more about that when DC gets around to it).
No, by "fate" we mean what the heck happens to Earth 2 at the end of March, when Earth 2: World's End…. well, ends?
It turns out that Earth 2 is truly going away. But some of the survivors apparently make it to a new earth.
Long live Earth 2.
No word yet on which earth becomes the "new" Earth 2 — the description of the June title Earth 2: Society doesn't clarify. And there's no indication that the Earth 2 heroes travel to the main DCU earth (like they did in the "possible five-years-in-the-future" timeline we saw in The New 52: Futures End).
But thanks to writer Daniel H. Wilson's interview with Newsarama, we know most of the characters from World's End survive, and they have to rebuild society without falling into war.
Something else we learned: There's a new Batman from Earth 2, replacing the current Thomas Wayne (who replaced his son, Bruce). Could it be Helena Wayne taking over for Dad, er… grandpa? Or maybe it's Dick Grayson? Or by the looks of the costume (and to make JSA fans salivate), maybe it's Ted Grant?

3.
Lost Green Lanterns
According to our interview with new Green Lantern: The Lost Army writer Cullen Bunn, "99 percent of the Green Lanterns have vanished from the DC Universe" and they "wind up in a completely different universe."
According to DC's solicitations, the 99 percent includes John Stewart, Kilowog, Two-Six, Arisia and "a surprise star."
So the vast majority of the Green Lantern Corps is gone from the main DCU in June.
We already know Hal doesn't have a Green Lantern ring anymore come June. No word yet on Guy Gardner, who's losing his ongoing title with this month's final issue of Red Lanterns and Green Lantern: New Guardians. (A future version of him shows up in Justice League 3001 according to that comic's cover — maybe even a female version of him, which should be hilarious.)
As for Kyle…

2.
Kyle Rayner's Dead?
According to the solicitation for The Omega Men #1, the team has "murdered White Lantern Kyle Rayner."
Say what?
We already knew Kyle was in trouble at the end of last month's New Guardians issue, but he was getting help from some friends — namely, the various colored Corps members from the old "new guardians." With Saint Walker yelling that there's "hope," all seemed to be headed in the right direction.
Will the Omega Men really murder Kyle Rayner? When does that happen? Next week's Green Lantern: New Guardians just got a lot more interesting.

1.
All-New Batman
Batman writer Scott Snyder has been warning us about it for months. Batman, he promised, will have a new status quo in June that "no one has done in 75 years of Batman."
Well, now we at least have a visual to go along with those promises.
DC released the cover for Batman #41, showing the back of a mech-looking suit with a smoking, mechanized gun-hand, and the solicitation copy: "The all-new Batman makes his debut! Who is he, and what happens next?"
There aren't very many clues about who's wearing that suit. He has some sort of warning lights on his back (police lights?), and what looks like a set of missile launchers on his shoulders. But there's very little that ties this character to Batman, besides maybe the two antenna-type bat ears coming from the top.
Batgirl's cover and solicitation show the character's front and reveal a bit more: The all-new Batman doesn't like Batgirl — apparently he's targeting her for elimination come June.
Unfortunately, we also learned something else this week — that Batman #40 isn't going to be released until the end of April. So it'll be awhile before we learn what happens when "Endgame" concludes — the transformative story that causes the changes in We Are Robin, Batgirl and Batman.
And it probably won't be until the Free Comic Book Day issue that we find out the identity of this mech-wearing, gun-toting fellow on the Batman #41 cover.
Until then, let the speculation continue. Who (or what) is the all-new Batman?
